Fontavis acquires 17.5MW wind farm "Bondön" in the Gulf of Bothnia, Sweden

Fontavis acquires the operational wind farm "Bondön" in Sweden. The 7 turbines have a total capacity of 17.5 MW and produce electricity for around 13,000 households annually. The newly acquired wind turbines complement the existing portfolio in Scandinavia.

Fontavis Renewable Infrastructure Fund Europe ("FORTE"), an investment fund managed by Fontavis AG, is expanding its portfolio and has acquired an operational wind farm in the Norbotten region of Sweden. The wind farm consists of a total of seven Nordex turbines which have been in operation since 2008 and have an installed capacity of 2.5MW each. This will enable them to produce around 36.6GWh of electricity a year from renewable sources. Thanks to its exposed location on the Bondön peninsula in the Gulf of Bothnia, the wind farm benefits from very attractive wind conditions.
