As one of the leading providers of local and district heating supply, Primeo (formarly EBM Wärmeholding AG) has been active since 1982 and now manages over 210 plants. Heating, cooling, compressed air and/or electricity is produced through various technologies. In addition, Primeo Wärmeholding AG also offers contracting services for the supply of steam, electricity, water and the disposal of waste and waste water.

Heizwerk Uri is a pioneer in renewable energy production in the canton of Uri. The company operates two heating plants and a large district heating network. The core business activity is the heating contracting, meaning the supply of heating to the end consumer. Local wood is used for the heating production. There is great potential in expansion and refinement.

Heizwerk Gotthard AG operates a wood-burning heating plant which in turn forms the heart of the new Göschenen-Andermatt heating network. The villages of Andermatt and Göschenen are heated with the heat from this plant and the waste heat from external systems.

Netzgesellschaft Andermatt owns and operates the district heating network in Andermatt and supplies its customers in the municipality of Andermatt with energy from sustainable sources. The heat is supplied by Heizwerk Gotthard AG, which has a 49% stake in the grid company alongside the municipality of Andermatt. The district heating network should be continuously developed over the next few years.

Trianel offshore wind park borkum II

The commissioning of the 32 wind turbines with a total output of 203MW is planned for the end of 2019. EWE, ewz and Fontavis along with 17 municipal utilities are involved in the wind farm via the Trianel municipal utility cooperation.

The existing plant is a wind farm on a peninsula near Piteå in the Norrbotten region (Sweden), which was commissioned in 2008. The ‘Bondön’ wind farm currently consists of seven turbines with an output of 17.5MW.

Renercon Huttwil AG was founded in March 2014 and holds the district heating network of Huttwil. The network itself was commissioned in April 2015 and currently supplies more than 50 properties with heat. Plans for further expansion of the network are in place. A wood-fired heating plant serves as a heat source, in which heat is produced by burning wood chips and residual wood.
